I’ve been working out for many years and I go through more leggings in a week than most people go through in a month. And as someone who owns over 30 pairs of leggings, I consider myself somewhat of a legging connoisseur—especially when it comes to workout leggings.
As a firm believer that black leggings are the best leggings, I got the Animus Active Leggings and the top. I got both in sizes small and medium so I could compare the fit. (For reference, I typically wear a size 4 in Lululemon.) While the small was perfectly fine, I found the medium to be a little more forgiving and comfortable, especially around my waist.
Just like my favorite pair of leggings, the Lululemon Align, the Ordae leggings also have a high waist that's as flattering as it is comfy (i.e. it holds everything in place and streamlines any bumps or "imperfections"). It stays in place, too, and doesn't roll down when you're working out, which is a major pet peeve of mine.
More importantly, the sweat-wicking fabric that they're made of is both breathable and supportive with just the right amount of compression. The fabric is also thick enough that it isn't see-through.
Can’t wait to check out their new collection.
